The 108 House Hat Yai

All the rooms at The 108 House Hat Yai are air-conditioned and include free Wi-Fi. The choice depends on the number of guests you travel with, since the two rooms share the same basic comforts.

For solo travellers or a couple, the 24 m² Double Room sleeps up to two. For a group of up to five, the 30 m² Classic Double or Twin sleeps five guests, with the same air conditioning and free Wi-Fi.

The streets around it are lined with shophouses, small shops and food stalls, and the district stays busy well into the evening. The city is best known for its markets and food rather than for beaches, which lie some distance away. Its surroundings are those of a working Thai city rather than of a resort area.

The Asean Night Bazaar is 400 m from the guesthouse, and the Magic Eye 3D Museum, which shows works by local artists, is 650 m away. Kim Yong Market, 1.8 km away, is the place to look for gifts and trinkets to take home. Hat Yai Railway Station is 1.7 km away for trains, and Hat Yai International Airport is 11.7 km away. Hat Yai Municipal Park and Our Lady of Lourdes Church are also within the city, while Wat Hat Yai Nai, a temple, lies further out.

A good way to spend a day is to start at Kim Yong Market, see the Magic Eye 3D Museum in the afternoon and finish at the Asean Night Bazaar in the evening. Wat Hat Yai Nai and Hat Yai Municipal Park add a quieter side to the day. The bus station is nearby for onward journeys to other parts of the south.
