The area is quiet, with small villages on the slopes and mountain scenery all around, far from the bustle of a busy town.

Highway Hill Camping is 300 m from the property, and the village of Ban Rim Si Muang lies 2.7 km away. Further afield, the Itthi Artillery Support Base Museum, 5.8 km away, is devoted to the history of the area, and the Khao Kho Sacrifice Monument, 7.1 km away, is a memorial in the district. Several other villages lie within a few kilometres along the roads through the hills.

Getting around is simplest by car, since the property has a free car park and the sights are spread along the roads through the hills. A good day out combines a stop at the museum with a visit to the monument, followed by time in the open air at the campsite and the villages.
