Thai Family rawai

The villas at Thai Family rawai all have air conditioning and a private entrance. One villa measures 250 m² and has a garden view, and another measures 150 m² and includes a full kitchen with a coffee and tea maker. Each villa accommodates up to six guests.

Rawai is a fishing village in the south of Phuket, where longtail boats and fishing boats share the waterfront with a seafood market. Sea Gypsy communities have long been part of the village, and it has a slower pace than the busy beaches of Patong. The beach is about 600 m from the villa, and the lanes around it have food stalls and small shops.

The main sights lie a few kilometres away. Nai Harn Beach is 1.9 km from the villa, the Big Buddha sits on the hills 5.5 km away, and Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 7.7 km away and one of the most revered temples on the island. A car or scooter is the easiest way to reach them, as the beaches and temples are spread across the island.

For a day out, Promthep Cape at the southernmost tip of Phuket is a popular place to watch the sunset, and its monastery is close by. Rawai Pier, 950 m from the villa, is one of the departure points for boat trips to the islands nearby, while the Rawai fish market shows the fishing life that gives the village its character, and the walk along the waterfront is a simple way to see both in one outing.
