The villas at Tha Lane Bay Villa have one, two or three bedrooms. Several overlook the sea or the bay, and one of the one-bedroom villas overlooks the pool. The Khao Thong Viewpoint, on a hill about 700 m away, gives an elevated view of the surrounding land and coast. Kayaking trips go into the Ao Thalane mangrove forest, which is close to the property, and Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a hillside temple complex, is 20.1 km away. Silanto beach is 7.9 km away, while Ao Nang Beach, the best-known beach strip in the province, is 16.9 km away. Railay Beach, which is reached only by boat, lies further off along the same coast.

A good day could start at the viewpoint, continue with a kayak trip through the mangroves and end with a swim at Silanto beach. Poda Island and the Hong Islands are reached by boat from the coast, and rough weather can stop those trips, so it helps to keep a flexible day in reserve.
