The rooms at Take A Rest Donmuang Residence range from a 25 m² standard room with a king bed to a 60 m² family room with two king beds for up to four guests.

Further afield, the Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of Bangkok's largest markets, is 13.4 km away, and the Grand Palace, the royal complex in the old city, is 21.1 km away. For those sights, a taxi or a rail connection is the practical choice.

A good day starts at the Grand Palace, where the Temple of the Emerald Buddha stands within the same complex, so the two can be visited together. Wat Arun stands on the bank of the Chao Phraya river nearby, and the day can end with street food on Khaosan Road in the old city. In the evening the road is busy, with food stalls along the lanes and a steady flow of people walking between them.
