All the rooms at Taj Palace hotel Patong Beach have air conditioning and a bathtub. They measure between 26 m² and 125 m², and the three rooms with a balcony sleep up to three guests. The hotel is about 150 m from Patong Beach, and Bangla Road, the street of bars and clubs that gives the town its nightlife, is 250 m away. Jungceylon Shopping Center is a short walk further on for shops and cafés, and the Banzaan Fresh Market, with its night stalls, is close by as well.

A good day could start on Patong Beach in the morning, then head out to the hills for the Big Buddha statue, 7.4 km away above Chalong Bay, and Wat Chalong. In the evening, Phuket FantaSea offers a cultural show, or you can stay in Patong for the night markets. Getting around the island is easiest with a car or scooter, since the beaches and temples are spread out.
