T2 The Portal Sukhumvit has King rooms, twin rooms and rooms with a King bed and two single beds, and several rooms overlook the city. Most of the rooms have a private bathroom, and Wi-Fi is free in all rooms.

T2 The Portal Sukhumvit is on Sukhumvit Soi 27 in central Bangkok, in a busy stretch of the Sukhumvit corridor where office towers, shopping centres and street-food stalls sit side by side. The area is well served by public transport, and the metro and the skytrain give access to much of the city. Soi Cowboy, a well-known nightlife street, is a short walk away, and the main road has shops and restaurants close to the hotel.

The Sukhumvit metro station is 400 m away on the Blue Line, and the Asok BTS Skytrain station is close by on the Sukhumvit Line. Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre with an aquarium and cinemas, is 3.4 km away, and the Jim Thompson House, a teak house museum with a collection of Thai silk and art, is 4.2 km away.

For a full day out, Chatuchak Weekend Market is one of the largest markets in Bangkok, and it lies 7.3 km from the hotel. Benjakitti Park, with its lake and walking paths, lies nearby. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun, on the river in the old city, are the classic sights for a first visit, and the riverside Asiatique complex is another place to visit in the evening.
