SZ Canalside Hotel

SZ Canalside Hotel offers twin rooms, king rooms and suites, several of them with a river view. Deluxe rooms measure 30 m² and executive rooms 32 m², and the Presidential Suite covers 96 m².

Bed set-ups include single, queen and king beds, and the Luxury Suite and Presidential Suite offer a choice of bed set-ups, including a sofa bed. SZ Canalside Hotel is on New Petchaburi Road in the Sukhumvit area of Bangkok, a busy district with hotels, shopping and restaurants along its main roads. Away from those roads, side streets and a canal pier give the area a calmer feel, and Klong Tan Pier is close to the hotel. Street-food stalls and massage shops line many of the side streets, so there is plenty to see on foot in the evening.

The Airport Rail Link Ramkhamhaeng Station is a short walk from the hotel, and its line runs to Suvarnabhumi Airport, which is 17.7 km away. Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre, is 6.6 km away, and Jim Thompson House, the Thai-style house museum of the American silk entrepreneur, is 7.3 km away. Taxis are easy to find on the main roads for the rest of the trip.

A day could begin at the Chatuchak Weekend Market, 8.1 km away, a large weekend market with thousands of stalls, and continue with the temples of the old city, including The Grand Palace and Wat Arun across the river. Those temples can fill a full day of sightseeing, and the rail link is one simple way back to the hotel.
