Bang Thao is a beach area on the west coast of Phuket, with a long sandy shore and a mix of villas, resorts and local homes. Bang Tao Beach is 150 m away, and the home is on Soi Had Surin 8, a short distance from the sea.

Around the area, Laem Sing Beach is 1.8 km away, and the Bang Tao Night Market is also 1.8 km away, where local street food and goods are sold in the evening. Phuket FantaSea, a cultural show and theme park, is 3.1 km away, and Laguna Golf Phuket is also nearby for a round of golf. Phuket International Airport is 14.4 km away, and the island is joined to the mainland by a bridge, so arriving by road is simple.

A good day could start with a swim at Bang Tao Beach and end at the Bang Tao Night Market, or with an evening show at Phuket FantaSea, which is a good choice after a day on the beach or at the golf course. Laem Sing Beach, in the Bang Thao area, offers a second beach for a different morning, and the golf course is an option for a day away from the sand.
