Surang Mansion has rooms for up to two and up to three guests. The studio room is 20 m² and the superior room is 25 m², each with a double bed. The studio room has air conditioning, a refrigerator and a television, and the superior room includes an additional toilet, toiletries and a telephone.

Rooms for up to three guests are also available, and rooms at the hotel can include a shower.

Front desk services at Surang Mansion include a 24-hour front desk, concierge, luggage storage, and express as well as private check-in and check-out. Surang Mansion is on Soi Ngamwongwan 18 in the Chatuchak district of northern Bangkok, an area of residential streets, markets and wide roads. Ngamwongwan Road is a busy route north out of the city, and the hotel sits on a soi just off it. Getting around the district is usually done by taxi or by the MRT metro, which has a station a short distance from the hotel.

The best-known attraction in the area is Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of Bangkok's largest markets, 6.3 km from the hotel, which fills with stalls at weekends. Khae Rai MRT Station, 2.2 km away, is the nearest metro stop and links the hotel to the wider city. Don Mueang International Airport is 9.5 km away, and Suvarnabhumi Airport is 29.3 km away, so both can be reached by taxi.

A day could start at Chatuchak Weekend Market and end in the old city, where the Grand Palace is 12.8 km from the hotel and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha stands inside the palace complex. Jim Thompson House, the former home of the American silk entrepreneur who founded the Thai silk company, is a museum in Bangkok. Wat Arun stands on the bank of the Chao Phraya river, and Asiatique The Riverfront, a riverside shopping and dining complex, is another place to visit in the evening.
