Kalim Beach, a quieter stretch of sand, is also reached by road from Patong.

Phuket has road access, so the 23.2 km trip from Phuket International Airport is made by car or taxi. A day can start on Patong Beach, continue through the shops of Jungceylon and end on Bangla Road in the evening, or you can head out to the temples and the Big Buddha.
