All the apartments at Sunset Residence Karon have air conditioning and a full kitchen, and each one measures 48 m². Each apartment sleeps up to two guests on a king bed.

Karon is a beach area on the Andaman coast of Phuket, south of Patong, with a long sandy beach and a quieter pace than the nightlife of its northern neighbour. The beach is the main reason many visitors come to the area. Sunset Residence Karon sits on a side street about 800 m from Karon Beach, in a neighbourhood of small streets, shops and eateries.

Wat Suwankiriket, a pagoda within a few hundred metres, is one of the nearest landmarks, and Karon Night Market, about 300 m away, runs in the evening with food stalls and local goods. Phuket Big Buddha, the large white statue on a hilltop, is 2.7 km away, and Patong Beach is 4.4 km. Phuket International Airport is 29.2 km away, on the same island, so the trip from the airport is by road.

A day could start at the Big Buddha, then continue to Kata Beach and Nai Harn Beach, both reached by road from Karon. Chaithararam Temple, also called Wat Chalong, is one of Phuket's most important temples. Patong's nightlife and shops are further north, if you want a busier evening, and in the evening Phuket FantaSea, a large cultural show, is held at Kamala.
