The villas at Sunpao Pool Villa by HCR include several with their own private pool. The Villa with Private Pool measures 110 m² and the Two-Bedroom Villa measures 100 m², and both have a mountain view. Other villas at the property sleep up to seven guests and also have a private pool.

Beds include double, Queen and King sizes, and some villas offer a choice of bed set-ups. Several villas have air conditioning, flat-screen TVs and private bathrooms, with towels and an electric kettle in the rooms.

Bang Tao Beach is 2.3 km away, a long sandy beach on the same coast. Phuket International Airport is about 8 km away, and Patong Beach, the island's busiest beach resort, is 14.7 km away. The Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong) and the Big Buddha sit further out on the island, so a car, taxi or motorbike is the easiest way to explore.

A day could begin on Layan Beach, continue at Bang Tao Beach, and end with the evening show at Phuket FantaSea, a large cultural theme park. Visitors who want a temple visit can head to Wat Chalong, one of the best-known Buddhist temples on the island, and then climb to the Big Buddha for views over the island and across the surrounding hills on a clear day. The temple and the Big Buddha are the furthest stops, so it is worth grouping them into one half-day outing across the island.
