Sunny Residence

The rooms at Sunny Residence include twin and double layouts, a queen-bed room and a 35 m² family room, with some rooms offering a city view and others a lake view. Depending on the room, you can expect air conditioning, a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV, a desk and an in-room safe.

Several rooms measure 28 m² and sleep up to three or four guests, and a Deluxe room measures 30 m² and sleeps up to four guests.

Guests can use a spa and sauna, a massage chair and a fitness centre, and the hotel also has luggage storage, laundry service, a concierge and currency exchange. Billiards are available, and there is a garden on site. The 24-hour front desk, concierge and luggage storage give the hotel a practical side for arrivals and departures.

Sunny Residence stands in Lat Krabang, a residential district in eastern Bangkok, not far from Suvarnabhumi Airport. The neighbourhood is local in character, with small streets, markets and temples rather than the tourist sights of central Bangkok. It makes most sense as a base for travellers with an early flight to catch, rather than as a sightseeing base, and the rooms and the restaurant are the main reasons to stay there.

Within a short distance, the Wat Sangkaracha temple is 200 m from the hotel, and the Paseo Mall, a shopping centre, is nearby. The Airport Rail Link Lat Krabang Station is 1.3 km away, offering a train link into central Bangkok, while Suvarnabhumi Outdoor Market is 1.4 km away and Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) is 4.3 km away.

For a day out, the Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of Bangkok's best-known markets, is 21.9 km away and open at weekends, so it suits a day trip into the city. The Grand Palace and the temples along the river are much further away, so they are better planned as a separate outing. Ladkrabang Railway Station is also close by, and the local streets around the hotel are a simple place to walk for a short outing.
