Sumba Pool Cottages

The holiday home is a one-bedroom house of 70 m² that sleeps up to two guests, with a king bed, a mountain view and air conditioning. It has a private bathroom with a shower, towels, toiletries and a hair dryer, plus an electric kettle, a flat-screen TV and a fan.

Across the property, the outdoor swimming pool and the indoor swimming pool sit alongside a garden and a terrace. Rooms can have a kitchenette or a full kitchen, a refrigerator, a dining table, a seating area and a balcony or terrace with outdoor furniture, as well as direct pool access or a private pool.

Sumba Pool Cottages has an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor swimming pool, with a garden and a terrace for relaxing outdoors. Air conditioning is also installed in the public areas, and non-smoking rooms are offered. Rooms can have direct pool access, so the pool is close to the room.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and the public areas have Wi-Fi as well, along with internet services. Free parking is available on site, and flat-screen TVs are provided.

Baan Tai is a village on Ko Pha-ngan, the island in the Gulf of Thailand that is reached by boat from the mainland and from Ko Samui. The setting is village life rather than a resort strip, with Haad Baan Tai beach a short walk from the property and a pagoda close by. Sea views and mountain views both come into the landscape around the property, and the beach is a short walk away.

Wat Khao Tham, a pagoda 350 m away, and the Night Market, 1.4 km away, are the nearest places of interest, while Ao Bang Charu, a beach bay 2.2 km away, is reached along the coast. Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach is 8.7 km away by road, and Ko Pha-ngan Pier, 3.2 km away, is the place for boat connections to other islands and the mainland.

A simple day starts with a walk to Haad Baan Tai, followed by the Night Market in the evening, or a longer trip to Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach for a different stretch of coast. Scuba diving and surfing are both possible nearby, so the beach can be combined with a dive or a surf session. For longer journeys, Samui International Airport and Surat Thani Airport are the main airports, and both are reached from the island by boat first.
