Sukorn Andaman Beach Resort

Every room at Sukorn Andaman Beach Resort has air conditioning, and most of them open onto a balcony or terrace. The rooms are a deluxe room and a series of bungalows, between 20 and 25 m², and most sleep up to three guests. Bed set-ups vary, so guests can choose the arrangement that suits their group.

Two bungalows come with a view, one over the sea and one over the beach. Most rooms also have a shower, a refrigerator and a coffee and tea maker, and several have a fan alongside the air conditioning. A desk and a sofa complete the furnishings in several of the bungalows.

Guests can eat at the restaurant, order room service or use the BBQ facilities, and breakfast can be taken in the room. Breakfast choices include Asian, continental and halal dishes, and there is a coffee shop on site.

For time on the water, the resort has a private beach and offers snorkelling, diving, canoeing, boating, fishing and non-motorised water sports. There is also a solarium, a garden, a massage service, bicycle rental and tours that can be arranged.

Practical services include daily housekeeping, laundry, ironing, babysitting, currency exchange, luggage storage and an airport transfer. Free parking is available on site, free Wi-Fi covers all rooms, and pets are allowed. Guests who want to stay connected will find Wi-Fi in the public areas as well.

Koh Sukorn is an island in the Andaman Sea off the coast of Trang, in southern Thailand, and the resort puts its private beach at the centre of a stay. It is a good base for guests who want the sea close by and a slower pace of day.

The ferry pier, Ko Sukon pier, is 2.5 km from the resort, and the villages of Ban Laem (5.5 km) and Ban Ta Se (7.4 km) lie nearby. Trang Airport is 46.1 km away, so the last part of the trip from the airport ends with a boat across to the island.

A day here can start with snorkelling or canoeing from the beach, with a bicycle for exploring the nearby villages later on. Tours can be arranged for trips further afield.
