Siam Paragon is 2.1 km away, and the Jim Thompson House, a teak house museum set around a garden, is a short ride further on. Suvarnabhumi, the main international airport, is 22 km away.

A good day can start with the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and the Grand Palace, which is 6.8 km away, then a short ride across the river to Wat Arun, 7 km from the hotel. Asiatique The Riverfront, a riverside shopping and dining complex, makes a relaxed end to the day. On weekends, the Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of the largest markets in Bangkok, is a full-day outing for shoppers, while the Phloen Chit area a short distance from the hotel offers more shopping close to the skytrain.
