Sukanyawoodhouse

Sukanyawoodhouse is a holiday home with one bedroom and one bathroom, and its bedroom is the Vacation Home, a 30 m² room with a queen bed and room for up to two guests. The room has a garden view, air conditioning and a fan, and a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels.

Koh Yao Yai is a rural island in Phangnga Bay, reached by boat, where life centres on small villages and the sea. The island has no bridge, so arrival and departure depend on boats. Life here revolves around the sea and the villages along the shore, and the pace is set by the boats.

Sukanyawoodhouse is in the Ban Ta Reua area of the island, a place for travellers who want a garden, a terrace and a slower pace than the beach resorts of Phuket. The village of Ban Ta Reua is 850 m from the property, and Loh Pared Beach, the nearest beach, is 2.2 km away. Laem Nok Beach lies a little further afield, Lo Jak Beach is 4.3 km away, and Ao Sai Beach is further still. Ao Tha Kae is a village with its own bay, also on the island.

Phuket International Airport is 34.7 km away and Krabi International Airport 45.6 km, so the last part of the trip to the island is by boat. Once here, a day can combine a swim at Loh Pared Beach, a stroll through Ban Ta Reua and a boat trip around Phang Nga Bay. Phuket's Wat Chalong and Patong Beach are on the far side of the water, a longer day trip.
