Sugar and Spice Inn

The rooms at Sugar and Spice Inn measure 28 m² and sleep up to three guests, and one of them sleeps up to four. Rooms can have air conditioning, a private entrance, a desk, an in-room safe box and a refrigerator, and bathrobes, a hair dryer and toiletries can also be provided.

Mountain views and balconies are part of the offer, and rooms can have satellite and cable channels on the TV. Wi-Fi is free in all rooms.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and in public areas, and the hotel has a restaurant, a bar and a massage service on site. Restaurant breakfast, lunch and dinner are offered, with Asian, Western and vegetarian cuisine, and there is a coffee shop.

Kata is one of the beach areas on Phuket's Andaman coast, a bay of sand with swimmers, beach-side restaurants and small bars along the road behind the shore. Sugar and Spice Inn sits on Thanon Kata, the road that runs back from the beach, so the sand and the evening market are both close at hand. Away from the sea, the streets around the bay have restaurants, massage shops and street-food stalls, and the area is busy by day and in the evening.

Kata Beach is 250 m away and Karon Beach 750 m, the next bay along the coast. Inland, the Big Buddha Phuket stands on a hill 1.7 km from the hotel, and Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), 4.9 km away, is one of the most revered temples on the island. Patong Beach, with the nightlife of Bangla Road, is a drive further along the coast, and the minibus station is close by for getting around.

A day can begin with a swim at Kata Beach, continue to the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong, and end at the Kata Night Market, 50 m from the hotel, with its food stalls and local goods. Tours and bicycles are offered at the hotel, so trips to Patong or other beaches on the island can start from here.
