Stay Thought

The apartment measures 50 m² and sleeps up to two guests. The bedroom has a king bed, and air conditioning is in the bedroom only.

Stay Thought is in the City Center area of Surat Thani, a provincial town on the Tapee river. The streets around the apartment carry everyday town life, with temples, shops and markets close at hand. The area has a different pace from the beach resorts of the islands, and it works well as a base for the town itself.

The City Pillar Shrine, a landmark in the town centre, is close by, and so are the Wat Phothawas temple and the Wat Dai Dhammaram pagoda. The Surat Thani Night Market, 1.5 km away, is the place for evening food and local goods, while Central Plaza Surat Thani, 3.9 km away, is a shopping centre. Surat Thani Airport is 20.3 km away, and the Surat Thani Railway Station is 11.3 km away, so both air and rail links are easy to reach.

A good day could begin at the Tapee River Viewpoint, 1.1 km away, then continue with the temples nearby and finish at the evening market. Boats to Ko Samui, Ko Phangan and Ko Tao leave from piers outside the town, so Stay Thought can also be a convenient stop before a crossing. Most of these sights are within a few kilometres of the apartment, so the town is easy to explore from one base.
