Phrom Phong BTS station is 300 m away, so the Skytrain is the simplest way to reach the wider city. Benchasiri Park is a green space 400 m from the hotel. Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre near Siam Square, is 4.4 km away, and Jim Thompson House, a teak-built museum of Thai silk and art, is 5.1 km away. The Chatuchak Weekend Market, 8.3 km away, is one of the largest weekend markets in the city, with clothes, crafts, food and plants.

A good day could start with a morning walk in Benchasiri Park, continue to Jim Thompson House, and end with dinner at Siam Paragon. The Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha sit in the Old City, a longer trip for a separate day, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market is a separate outing for a weekend, with its stalls of clothes, crafts and food. Chatuchak is best visited with a full morning set aside.
