Sriraya Guesthouse

Beaches, waterfalls and national parks are all on the island and can be reached by road.

The old town pier is 150 m away, and the island's main sights lie further out. Khao Mai Kaew Cave is 2.6 km away, and Khlong Chak Waterfall and Mu Ko Lanta National Park are about 6.8 km away. Long Beach is 9.9 km away, on the island's sandy shoreline, for a day at the sea. Car hire and a taxi service are offered for trips further afield, and Trang Airport and Krabi International Airport are both on the mainland, so reaching the island involves a boat.

A good day could start at Khao Mai Kaew Cave and then continue to Mu Ko Lanta National Park, which protects forest and coastal areas. Sea conditions can affect the boats to and from the mainland in the rainy season, so it is worth allowing time for the crossing.
