The island's own airport, Samui Airport, is 1.7 km from the hotel, and flights land there directly, with no ferry needed for the last stage of the trip. The Big Buddha, a large hilltop statue with views over the coast, is 3.8 km away, and Wat Plai Laem, a temple known for its large Guanyin statue, is 3.6 km away. The waterfall at Na Muang, 12.1 km away, is a longer trip into the hills, and it makes a full day out from the coast with a walk up to the falls.

A day could start with a swim at Nora Beach, followed by a visit to the Big Buddha or to the Samui Elephant Sanctuary Bophut, where you can see elephants. The Na Muang waterfall makes a longer excursion into the hills, and the Night Market is a short ride away, with food stalls and local goods in the evening.
