Smile Inn

Smile Inn has rooms for one guest, for two and for up to five guests. Several rooms have a city view, one has a lagoon view, and several private bathrooms are fitted with a bathtub and a shower. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

The Standard Double (Non-Smoking) and the Standard Room each measure 18 m², and the Economy Single, the Standard Single Room and the Single Standard measure 11 m². Several rooms have a flat-screen TV and a telephone, and the bathrooms include toiletries and towels. Several rooms also provide wireless internet access and a mobile hotspot device.

Smile Inn sits on Damrongrak Road in the Khaosan area of Bangkok, opposite Sitaram Temple. The district is busy with guesthouses, street-food stalls and small bars, and the temples and museums of the old city are close by. The area is known for its Thai street food and its night-time atmosphere. The Chao Phraya river is also close, with Phan Fa Lilat Pier a short walk from the hotel.

Wat Saket is 150 m away, and its Golden Mount is a hilltop chedi with views over the old city. Khaosan Road is 1.5 km away and is the district's best-known street. The Grand Palace is 2.1 km away, with the Temple of the Emerald Buddha inside its walls, and Sam Yot MRT Station is 1.2 km away for the metro.

Don Mueang International Airport is 20.3 km away, and there is an airport transfer. For a day out, start with the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, cross the river to Wat Arun, and return to the Khaosan area for street food in the evening, when the district's backpacker scene is most visible. Chatuchak Weekend Market is a large weekend market further out, a long ride from the hotel, and it is a good choice for a weekend of shopping.
