Smart Boutique

Smart Boutique has rooms for solo travellers, couples and larger groups, with capacities running from three guests up to eleven. Rooms can have air conditioning, a desk and a telephone, and several of them look out over the city.

The Family room measures 68 m² and has a city view. The Standard Room measures 28 m², also with a city view, and sleeps up to three guests. For larger parties there are rooms that sleep up to eleven guests.

A 24-hour front desk and 24-hour security are part of the hotel's facilities, and staff speak English and Thai. Billiards are available for guests.

Room service is available around the clock, and breakfast is served a la carte from the menu. In-room facilities include a telephone, air conditioning and a desk in some rooms.

Smart Boutique sits on Bo Ang Road in Tha Wang, in the built-up centre of Nakhon Si Thammarat, the historic provincial capital of the southern peninsula. The city is one of the old centres of southern Thailand, and its historic temples and shadow puppet tradition give it a character quite different from the resort coasts. It is an urban base rather than a beach area, with markets and a pagoda close at hand.

The Ratchaphruek Night Bazaar Market and Bovorn Bazar are both close, so the evening market is an easy walk. Kuwkwang Garden is close by too, and the City Shrine, King Sri Dhammasokaraja Monument and Ho Phra Narai all lie a short distance away. The National Museum is 4.2 km away. The railway station Nakhon Si Thammarat, 1,000 m from the hotel, connects the city with the wider region, and Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport (NST) is 11.7 km away for those who fly in.

A good day could start at Kuwkwang Garden, then continue to the National Museum, which covers the history of the region. The Suchart Subsin's Shadow Puppet Museum is also worth a visit. Walks around the old centre are easy, because most sights are within a few kilometres of each other, and the evening bazaar makes a natural end to the day.
