Sky Suites

The rooms at Sky Suites measure from 20 to 72 m², and the bed set-ups include single beds, a queen bed and combinations of single and double beds. Several rooms have a city view, and the 43 m² Standard room also has a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries.

The two 72 m² rooms both have a city view and air conditioning, and both sleep up to three guests. Another room sleeps up to four guests, and several rooms are non-smoking. A flat-screen TV and a coffee and tea maker are in some rooms. Extra beds depend on the room you choose, and an extra bed carries an additional charge.

The property has a 24-hour front desk, a shuttle service, room service and a massage service, and it is smoke-free. English and Thai are spoken, and there is an elevator, safety deposit boxes, daily housekeeping, a laundromat and a laundry service. The 24-hour front desk is open around the clock.

For media, the property offers free Wi-Fi in all rooms, Wi-Fi in its public areas and a TV, and rooms can have air conditioning, a desk, a shower, toiletries, free bottled water and a refrigerator.

Sky Suites is on Sukhumvit Soi 1, one of the side streets off Sukhumvit Road in the Wattana district of Bangkok. The area is busy, with hotels, restaurants and shops at street level, and the Skytrain runs above Sukhumvit Road. Nana is one of Bangkok's best-known areas for food and nightlife, and the Skytrain makes trips between districts practical because the line runs north and south above the road.

Phloen Chit BTS station is 350 m away and Nana BTS station is 550 m, both on the Sukhumvit Line, so the Skytrain covers the Sukhumvit stretch between them. From Phloen Chit the Skytrain reaches Siam, the central shopping district, in a few stops. Jim Thompson House, a museum of traditional teak houses and Asian art, is 2.6 km away.

A day could start at the Grand Palace, 6.6 km away, and continue across the Chao Phraya to Wat Arun, a riverside temple on the Thonburi bank, 6.8 km away. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun are both in the old city, so the two can make up a full day of sightseeing with the river crossing in between. On weekends, the Chatuchak Weekend Market has stalls selling clothes, food and crafts.
