Ao Nang Beach, the nearest stretch of sand, is 1.3 km away. Railay Beach, 2.5 km away, is reached only by boat, and Phra Nang Cave, a limestone cave on the same peninsula, lies 3.7 km away. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a hilltop Buddhist temple reached by a long staircase, is 14.1 km away near Krabi town. The Aonang mosque is a short walk from the villa.

A good day here starts with a longtail boat from the pier to Railay, with a swim and a walk to the cave, and then a return to Ao Nang for the evening. Krabi International Airport lies 17.7 km away on the mainland, so the trip from the airport needs no boat, but the trip to Railay does. Back in town, the evening is spent along the streets near the pier, where the tour desks and street-food stalls stay busy.
