The suites at Sivatel Bangkok Hotel range from 64 m² one-bedroom layouts to a 160 m² duplex with two bedrooms, and capacity goes up to eight guests. Several suites have a city view, and some have a bathtub or a separate shower and bathtub.

Several suites offer a choice of bed set-ups. It is a busy neighbourhood of shopping malls, office towers and embassies, with street-food stalls and massage shops on the side streets, and the Sukhumvit line of the skytrain runs through it.

Phloen Chit BTS station is 200 m from the hotel, and the Siam shopping district is a short ride away on the same line. Siam Paragon, a large shopping mall with an ocean aquarium and cinemas, is 1.4 km from the hotel, while Jim Thompson House, a museum of Thai silk and art set in traditional teak houses, is 2.2 km away. Erawan Shrine, a Hindu shrine near Chit Lom station, is close to the Skytrain, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market, a large market with stalls selling clothes, food and crafts, is a longer trip out on weekends.

A full day could begin at the Grand Palace, 6.2 km away, and Wat Arun on the Chao Phraya river, then return to the Siam area for shopping and dinner in the evening. Walking the side streets in the evening is a good way to see the neighbourhood, and the skytrain makes it easy to return to the hotel afterwards.
