Closer to home, Wat Ban Thung Seri is a small pagoda in the local streets, and Decha Park offers a green space for a morning walk. The private Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital is in the same area.

A day out could begin at the Chatuchak Weekend Market, 10.7 km away, a large weekend market with thousands of stalls, and continue to the Grand Palace, 14.9 km away, in the old city.
