The area works well for guests who want a base on the BTS line rather than a hotel in the Old City.

The nearest transport is Punnawithi BTS Station, 500 m away, and the Skytrain runs into central Bangkok. A garden park and Khun-Yim Market are close by. Further away, Siam Paragon is 10 km away, and The Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew), both in the Old City, are 14.1 km away. Suvarnabhumi Airport, the main international airport, is 15.7 km away.

A good day could start at Khun-Yim Market, then head into town on the BTS for the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Chetuphon, known as Wat Pho, which sits close to it. Wat Arun lies across the Chao Phraya river from them, and in the evening Asiatique The Riverfront offers a riverside setting for dinner. For a weekend outing, the Chatuchak Weekend Market is 13.8 km away, a large market for shopping and food.
