Sinthavee Hotel

All the rooms at Sinthavee Hotel have a city view and air conditioning, and each one sleeps up to three guests. The rooms measure between 20 and 24 m², and each has a private bathroom with a shower, a hair dryer, a desk, a TV, wired internet and free bottled water.

For a stay built around the old streets rather than the sand, the area works well. Phuket Town itself is compact, so most of the old streets can be explored on foot.

The Old Phuket Town shophouses and the Baba Phuket Museum are both a short walk away, and the museum covers Peranakan culture. The Sunday Walking Street Market (Lard Yai) is 150 m from the hotel, and the Phuket Town Local Bus Station (Terminal 1) at 650 m serves local buses. Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), 7.2 km away, is one of the island's most important Buddhist temples, and Patong Beach is 10.4 km away.

A day could start with a walk through the old town and the Baba Phuket Museum, then head to Wat Chalong and Big Buddha Phuket on the hills above Chalong, before finishing at Patong Beach in the evening. Phuket International Airport is 26.9 km away, so allow time for the drive to the hotel.
