Simple Life Resort

The rooms measure 24 to 45 m² and sleep up to three guests each. All of them have air conditioning, a TV, a hair dryer and free WiFi, and depending on the room, the view is over the garden, the pool, the courtyard or the mountains.

Most rooms have a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries, and several include a mini bar. Some rooms offer a choice of bed set-ups, and the Standard Triple Room has one single bed and one double bed, so the sleeping arrangement depends on the room you choose and the number of guests travelling together.

The resort has an outdoor and an indoor swimming pool, a children's swimming pool, and a spa with sauna and massage. The grounds include a garden, and the nightclub and the bar with a happy hour keep the evenings lively.

Breakfast is served as a buffet or continental, and the coffee shop, the restaurants and room service round out the dining options. Free parking is available, and free WiFi covers all rooms.

Services also include a shuttle service, currency exchange, laundry, a concierge and a 24-hour front desk, and wheelchair accessible facilities are provided. Tours can be arranged through the resort, and non-motorised water sports are offered alongside diving and snorkelling.

Simple Life Resort is on Ko Tao, a small island in the Gulf of Thailand that belongs to Surat Thani province. Sairee Beach, the island's main stretch of sand, is a few hundred metres away, and its strip of dive schools and beach bars gives the area a lively feel. The island is compact, with a mix of beaches and bays along its coast.

Nangyuan Island, about 3 km away, is a small group of islands joined by sandbars and reached by boat. Two lookout points, Top of the rock and Coconut Viewpoint, give views over the coast, and Ao Tanot Bay and Jansom Bay, both about 2.6 km away, are also worth a visit. The ferry pier, 1.9 km away, is the island's link with Ko Samui and the mainland.

Diving and snorkelling are the main draws on Ko Tao, and a boat trip to Nangyuan Island makes a good day out on the water. For a shorter outing, the viewpoints and the pagoda, about 1 km away, are the nearby sights to head for. Samui Airport (USM) is 66.5 km away on Ko Samui, so reaching the island from the airport involves a ferry crossing from Ko Samui.
