The district is a practical base for the airport, while the central sights need a longer journey.

The closest attraction is the Kwan-Riam Floating Market, 600 m from the hotel, a market on the canals. Wat Bumpennua, a temple, is also nearby, and Wat Bang Peng Tai Temple is 1.6 km away. Siam Amazing Park, a theme park, is 2.3 km away, and Setthabutbamphen MRT station is 1.7 km from the hotel. Suvarnabhumi Airport is 12.5 km away, and the hotel offers an airport transfer to it.

A good day out could start at the floating market, continue to the temples of Wat Bumpennua and Wat Bang Peng Tai Temple, and finish with a swim or a massage back at the hotel. The Chatuchak Weekend Market is a longer trip across Bangkok and is open at weekends, so it suits a day set aside for shopping.
