Shah Hill Hut

The island's old town, Lanta Old Town, is 9.8 km away and has a traditional village feel, while Khlong Khong Beach is about 2 km away along the coast road. Mu Ko Lanta National Park, around 15.9 km away, covers islands, beaches and forest trails. Krabi International Airport is 55.7 km away on the mainland, and the last part of the trip to Koh Lanta is by ferry.

A day could start with a walk to Long Beach, then continue to Khlong Khong Beach and end with a visit to Lanta Old Town. For a longer outing, the national park is the place to go, and the boat trips from the island's coast are the usual way to reach its islands. The beach is the simplest first stop, since it is the closest of the nearby sights and can be reached on foot from the property.
