Seven Hotel

Every room at Seven Hotel has air conditioning, blackout curtains and a flat-screen TV, along with a shower in the bathroom and free Wi-Fi. Each room also has a coffee and tea maker and complimentary tea, and each is set up for up to two guests.

Most rooms measure 24 m², and one 40 m² room has a garden view while the others look over the city. Both king-bed rooms and rooms with two single beds are offered, and toiletries come in most of the bathrooms. Air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and blackout curtains are fitted in every room, and guests can book either bed set-up.

Guests have access to a laundry service and a laundromat for doing their own washing, along with luggage storage and safety deposit boxes for valuables. Express check-in and check-out are offered, and the property is smoke-free.

For meals and drinks there is a coffee shop, and a shared kitchen is available for guests who want to cook. Wi-Fi is free in all rooms and is also available in the public areas.

Check-out is until 12:00.Guests who arrive by air can also use the hotel's airport transfer, while luggage storage keeps bags safe on the day of departure.

Seven Hotel is on Sukhumvit 31, a soi off the busy Sukhumvit Road in central Bangkok, where hotels, restaurants and shops line the main road. Quieter residential streets run off the soi, and Benchasiri Park, a green public park, lies nearby, while the bars of Soi Cowboy are a short distance away.

The Phrom Phong BTS Station and the Sukhumvit MRT Station are both 600 m from the hotel, so the Skytrain and the metro are the simplest way to reach the rest of the city. Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre with an aquarium and cinemas, is 3.6 km away, and Jim Thompson House, a former silk merchant's home turned museum, is 4.4 km away. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun, two of Bangkok's best-known sights, lie in the old city by the Chao Phraya river.

A useful day could start with a walk in Benchasiri Park, continue by Skytrain to the shops at Siam Paragon, and end with a visit to Jim Thompson House, a museum set in a traditional Thai house. For a weekend morning, Chatuchak Weekend Market is one of the city's best-known markets, and the old city's temples, the Grand Palace among them, make a full day out.
