Se'sun Amphawa

The rooms at Se'sun Amphawa include a One-Bedroom Bungalow of 17 m² with a river view, air conditioning and a private bathroom, and a Standard Room with River View of 15 m². Guests can also choose a Double Bed room of 15 m², and a Double Standard that sleeps up to five guests.

Se'sun Amphawa is in Amphawa (Samut Songkhram), a canal town in central Thailand where daily life is organised around the waterways. The town is small and walkable along the canal paths, and visitors come for the boats, the food sold on the water and the slower pace compared with Bangkok. Most of the nearby sights are within a few hundred metres, so the town is easy to explore on foot.

The Amphawa Floating Market is 200 m from the property, with vendors selling food and snacks from boats along the canal, and it is liveliest at weekends. King Rama II Memorial Park, 250 m away, is a green space that gives the morning a quieter start, and the Amphawa Thai Dessert Museum is 400 m away. The Maeklong Railway Market, where trains pass through the stalls, is 5.1 km away.

A good plan for a day is to start at the floating market, then visit the dessert museum and the park, and reach the Maeklong Railway Market later in the day. The railway market is further out, so it works best as a separate stop rather than a short detour from the canal. For a slower start to the day, the park is the calmer choice.
