Phra Nang Cave, a beach and cave set among the same cliffs, is 6.4 km away. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), with a long staircase climbing a hill to a shrine and views over the countryside, is 12 km away. Boats to the islands leave from Ao Nang Beach Pier, and the islands of Poda and Tup are reached from there.

A good day here could start with a boat from Ao Nang Beach Pier to Poda or Tup, followed by an afternoon at the cliffs of Railay or the beaches around Phra Nang. In the morning, Tiger Cave Temple makes an easy visit, and in the evening the Ao-Nang Landmark Night Market is a good place to finish the day. Sea conditions can make boat trips rougher during the rainy season.
