Seabox Hostel

The rooms at Seabox Hostel measure between 18 and 25 m² and come with either city views or mountain views. Bed options include single, queen, double and semi-double beds, as well as futons, depending on the room. Several rooms have a private bathroom with a bathtub or a walk-in shower, along with a hair dryer, toiletries and towels.

Some rooms add air conditioning, a TV, a separate dining area or a reading light, and the Economy Twin Room has a kitchenette with a microwave and a refrigerator. Seabox Hostel stands on Petchkasem Road in the Khao Lak coastal area, in Phang Nga province on the Andaman coast. The streets around it hold a mix of small shops, tailors and eateries, and the sea is close by, so the area suits a stay built around the beach. Inland, hills and forest begin only a short distance from the coast, and the national parks there are the area's best-known natural draws.

Nang Thong Beach lies 250 m from the hostel, and Sunset Beach is a little further along the coast. Khao Lak-Lam Ru National Park is 1.7 km away, with forest trails and waterfalls, and the Tsunami Museum, about 3.1 km away, recalls the 2004 tsunami that struck this coast. Ton Chong Fa Waterfall is 4.6 km away in the hills, and Similan National Park, reached by boat from the coast, is 7.3 km from the hostel.

Getting around is simple with the car hire and bicycle rental the property offers, and a taxi service is also available. A good day could begin with a swim at Nang Thong Beach, continue on the forest trails of the national park, and end with a walk on the sand at Sunset Beach.
