Sea Shell Hut

Every room at Sea Shell Hut has air conditioning. Some rooms have a single bed for one guest, others have two single beds or one double bed for two, and the triple room combines a single bed and a double bed for up to three guests.

Each room has its own private bathroom, and the layouts cover one to three guests, so the rooms work for solo travellers, couples and small groups.

The 24-hour front desk is open around the clock, and private check-in and check-out are available for arrivals and departures. Tours are offered, and the shared lounge and TV area gives guests a place to sit on sofas in front of a large flat-screen TV.

Air conditioning is installed in the public areas as well as in the rooms, and the property is managed by a private host. Check-in runs from 14:00 to 18:00 and check-out is until 11:00, so arrival and departure times are fixed by the schedule above.

Ton Sai Bay is the village area of Ko Phi Phi, an island in Krabi province that is reached by boat from the mainland. Sea Shell Hut sits within the village, close to the boats and the water, and it works well for travellers who want to stay near the sea. The ferry pier at Ton Sai is a short walk from the property.

Ton Sai Beach is 500 m away along the bay, and Long Beach lies 1.6 km from the hotel on the island. The Koh Phi Phi Viewpoint, 1,000 m away, gives a view over Ton Sai Bay and the village, while Monkey Beach is 1.7 km away and is known for the macaques that live there. The Viking Cave, a limestone cave, is 5.3 km from the hotel and is visited on boat trips.

A good day could start with the walk up to the viewpoint, then continue with a swim at Ton Sai Beach, which is close to the hotel. Ao Maya, on the neighbouring island of Phi Phi Leh, is one of the best-known bays in the area and is reached by boat, so it makes a natural choice for a half-day trip from the pier. Back in the village, the market is a short walk from the hotel.
