Scandinavian Beach Resort

Every room at Scandinavian Beach Resort has a garden view, air conditioning and a private entrance, and each one comes with a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels. The rooms measure from 20 m² to 35 m², and they sleep up to four guests. Each room also has a socket near the bed, linens, a coffee and tea maker and a refrigerator.

The beds range from one queen bed to combinations of single, double and queen beds, so the choice depends on the size of your group. The three rooms share the same garden outlook and the same bathroom equipment, and the resort's own private beach and garden are a short step away from every one of them.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, a restaurant, a snack bar and a bar with happy hour. The garden and the private beach are part of the grounds, and guests can go diving, snorkelling or fishing from the beach. Guests can eat at the restaurant or the snack bar, and alternative meal arrangements are offered as well.

The resort offers an airport transfer, a shuttle service and tours. Free parking is available on site, and free Wi-Fi covers all rooms, with Wi-Fi also available in public areas.

Luggage storage, express check-in and check-out, daily housekeeping and laundry service are offered, and kids meals are available for younger guests. English and Thai are spoken, and pets are allowed.

Scandinavian Beach Resort is in Baan Klong Khong, a village on Koh Lanta, the long island in Krabi province in the Andaman Sea. The coast around the resort has several beaches close together, and village life sits right next to the water. The resort's own private beach gives guests a place to spend the day by the sea, while the garden offers a quieter place to sit between swims. Klong Khong Beach is 50 m from the resort, so the nearest stretch of sand is only a few steps across the road.

Khlong Top Yai Beach lies 1.6 km away, and the island's natural landscape is protected by Mu Ko Lanta National Park. Khao Mai Kaew Cave is 5.8 km away, and Khlong Chak Waterfall is 13.1 km away, so the inland sights are easy to combine with a beach day. Lanta Old Town gives a glimpse of the island's older settlement. Koh Lanta is reached by ferry from the Krabi mainland, and Krabi International Airport lies about 59 km away on the mainland, so the last part of the journey is by boat.

For a full day, start with a swim at the private beach, then head inland to Khao Mai Kaew Cave, and finish with a walk through Lanta Old Town. Free parking is available on site for guests who come by car.
