Saint Louis BTS Station is 500 m away and Surasak BTS Station is 700 m, so the Skytrain is close by for trips across the city. Asiatique - The Riverfront, a riverside night market and shopping area on the Chao Phraya, is 3 km away, and the Grand Palace in the old city is 5.4 km away. Chatuchak Weekend Market, the large weekend market, is 9.5 km away.

For an idea of a day, start with a walk to Chong Nonsi Canal Park and the Pung Tao Kong Shrine, then take the Skytrain to Siam Paragon for shopping and lunch. In the late afternoon, a riverboat from Sathorn Pier takes you across the river to Asiatique, where the riverside shops and food stalls are a relaxed way to end the day.
