Samui Guest House

The guesthouse offers double rooms in several layouts. Some have a balcony, such as the Deluxe Double Room with Balcony, which has a queen bed, and the Double Room with Balcony, which measures 25 m² and has a king bed and a mountain view. A double bed room with a balcony and no window is also available, along with a 32 m² double bed room and a Standard Double Room.

Rooms sleep two, three or four guests, depending on the room. The Double Room with Balcony has a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, plus satellite and cable TV, and the Deluxe Double Room with Balcony has a private bathroom and air conditioning.

Free WiFi is available in all rooms, and the public areas also have WiFi and internet services. Free parking is available, and an airport transfer is offered along with car hire and luggage storage. A 24-hour front desk, daily housekeeping and laundry service are part of the stay.

The food options are restaurants, room service and an alternative meal arrangement, and the garden and terrace give outdoor space. Guests can also take up diving and snorkelling, and the property has facilities for disabled guests, air conditioning in the public area and a shrine. Non-smoking rooms are available for guests who want a smoke-free stay, and the food options cover both restaurant meals and room service.

Lamai is a beach area on Koh Samui, centred on a long stretch of sand that is a short walk from the guesthouse, 370 m away. The beach has a casual feel, with food stalls, small shops and guesthouses along the road that runs behind it, and it is a practical base for travellers who want the sea close at hand.

Wat Lamai is a pagoda a short walk away, and the Lamai Night Market, the evening food and shopping market, is nearby. The Hin Ta and Hin Yai rocks, known as Grandma and Grandpa Rocks, are also close by. Further afield, Na Muang Waterfall lies 6.1 km away and the Big Buddha statue is 11.5 km away, both reached by road from the coast. Samui Airport is 9.1 km away, so an airport transfer is the simplest way to reach the guesthouse on arrival.

A full day could start with a morning on Lamai Beach, then a visit to the Hin Ta and Hin Yai rocks. Finish the day at the Lamai Night Market, which is close to the guesthouse. Excursions to Na Muang Waterfall or the Big Buddha take longer, so it is better to plan them as separate trips.
