Sairee Beach is the main beach on Ko Tao, an island in the Gulf of Thailand off the coast of Surat Thani province. The sea around the island is clear and rich in marine life, and Ko Tao is best known for diving. Dive schools, bars and restaurants line the sand, giving the beach a lively feel, and the island is small enough that the beach, the pier and the surroundings of the resort are all within a short distance of one another.
The resort is 50 m from the beach and 1.5 km from the Lomprayah Koh Tao Pier, the island's ferry terminal, where boats arrive from the mainland and from Ko Samui. Sairee Viewpoint, 1.4 km away, looks over Sairee Beach and Koh Nang Yuan, a small islet reached by boat. Samui Airport is 66.2 km away on Ko Samui, so the last part of the journey to Ko Tao is by boat.
