The villas at Saifon Villas come in several sizes, from three-bedroom villas to properties with five or eight bedrooms, and most of them have a mountain view. Capacity runs from three guests to 20, and the beds are king and queen beds in every villa. The town is lively in the evening, with street-food stalls and tour offices along its roads. It is also a base for boat trips and day tours, and it has a range of restaurants and shops.

Noppharat Thara Beach is 2.4 km from the property and Ao Nang Beach 4.2 km away, with Railay Beach at 7.3 km. Railay has no road access and is reached only by longtail boat, and Phra Nang Cave lies on the Railay peninsula. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), 15.4 km away, is reached by a long flight of steps to a hilltop shrine. The Emerald Pool, a natural pool in the forest inland, is a longer excursion from the property.

A day could start on Ao Nang Beach and continue by longtail boat to Railay or to nearby islands such as Poda and Tup, which are also reached by boat. In the rainy season rough seas can disrupt boat trips. Guests who prefer a quieter day can spend time at the property's pools, hot spring bath and massage treatments before heading out. Krabi International Airport is 20.6 km from the property.
