Sai Rung Resort

Sai Rung Resort's rooms are bungalows and villas, and several of them look out over the garden. Two rooms measure 20 m²: an air-conditioned bungalow with a private bathroom, and a twin studio with a private shower and a microwave. The Villa measures 15 m² and has a garden view, while several rooms sleep up to four guests.

Rooms can have a refrigerator, a microwave, a mirror, free bottled water, ironing facilities and a washing machine. The air-conditioned bungalow also has satellite and cable channels and a flat-screen TV.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool and a children's swimming pool, along with a garden. Guests can eat at the restaurant, order room service, or use the shared kitchen and the BBQ facilities, and food delivery is also available.

Daily housekeeping, laundry service, dry cleaning and luggage storage are offered, and car hire, airport transfer and taxi service are available for getting around. Private check-in and check-out are also offered, and an ironing service and a laundromat are available too.

Parking is available, with free parking on site, parking nearby and bicycle parking. The resort is family and child friendly, pets are allowed, and karaoke is offered too, with the shared kitchen open to guests who want to cook.

Sai Rung Resort is in Nuea Klong, an area on the edge of Krabi town and close to Krabi International Airport, which is 3 km away. Phuket International Airport is further off, at 77.3 km. The resort's garden and bungalows set the tone of a stay here, while the wider coast is reached by road for the beaches and by boat for the islands. The setting is calmer than the busier coast, with that coast a drive away.

Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea) is 9.4 km away, a hilltop temple reached by a long flight of steps. Ao Nang Beach, 21.7 km away, is a long bay lined with limestone cliffs, with longtail boats along the sand, and Railay, reached only by longtail boat, lies along the same coast. Both give the coast its character, and the cliffs and the water are the main draw.

A good day could start at Tiger Cave Temple and continue with a longtail boat trip from the coast to the islands of Poda or Tup, which lie offshore. Railay makes a day of its own on the Andaman coast, and Krabi town is a short way off for a meal out on the return.
