Safari Beach Hotel

Rooms at Safari Beach Hotel can have individual air conditioning, an in-room safe, a desk, a mini bar, a refrigerator and a balcony or terrace. Bathrooms can have a shower, bathrobes, a hair dryer, toiletries and towels.

The rooms sleep from three to five guests. The Safari Deluxe, the Contemporary Thai Deluxe and the Contemporary Thai Grand Deluxe each measure 28 m² and have a garden view, with a choice of bed set-ups, while the Comtemporary Thai Deluxe Family measures 45 m² and sleeps up to five.

Safari Beach Hotel is in Patong, one of the best-known beach resorts on Phuket's west coast, and Patong Beach, the closest stretch of sand, is 50 m from the hotel. The area is lively: Bangla Road, the street of bars and nightclubs, is 150 m away, and the streets around the beach are lined with restaurants, bars and small shops. By day the beach is the focus, and in the evening the streets fill with food stalls and night markets.

The hotel is on Taweewong Road in Kathu, and the island's best-known temple, Wat Chalong, is 6.9 km away. The large seated Buddha on Nakkerd Hills, Big Buddha Phuket, is 7.7 km away. Phuket International Airport (HKT) is 24.1 km away, and the hotel offers an airport transfer.

A full day could start with a swim at Patong Beach, continue with a visit to Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha, and end in the evening with a walk along Bangla Road. Karon and Kata beaches lie further south along the coast for a quieter afternoon on the sand. Kalim Beach, a quieter stretch north of Patong, is a calm place for a swim, and Erawan Shrine, a Hindu-style shrine in the middle of Patong, is also worth a stop.
