On Nut Fresh Market and Phra Khanong Market are good places to buy fresh food, and two pagodas, Wat Bunrot Thammaram and Wat Saphan, are a few hundred metres from the apartment. Suvarnabhumi Airport is 16.9 km away and Don Mueang International Airport is 23.7 km away.

For a day of sightseeing, the Grand Palace and Wat Arun, both 12.4 km away, are the classic sights of the historic old city on the river, while the Chatuchak Weekend Market, 12.1 km away, is worth the trip on a weekend. Back in Phra Khanong, the Skytrain makes the evening return straightforward.
