A good day can combine the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in the morning, a boat across to Wat Arun, and a walk through Wang Lang Market in the afternoon. Siriraj Hospital is close by, and its medical museums suit visitors interested in the history of Thai medicine. Wat Rakhang Kositaram Woramahawihan, 200 m away, can be added to the same walk.
