Phrom Phong BTS station is 500 m away, and Benchasiri Park is close by for a walk among the trees. Soi Cowboy, a lively street of bars and nightlife, is also nearby. Jim Thompson House, the former home of the American who revived Thai silk, is 4.5 km away, and the Kamthieng House Museum, a traditional northern Thai house turned into a museum, is 850 m away.

Both Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports are 20.4 km away, and a day out can start with The Grand Palace, 8.3 km away, where the Temple of the Emerald Buddha stands inside the complex. From there you can take a boat across the Chao Phraya river to Wat Arun on the far bank, and end the evening back on Sukhumvit at Soi Cowboy.
