The Grand Palace, the royal complex in the old city, is a longer journey still.

A full day could start with a morning at Chatuchak Weekend Market and continue with a visit to Wat Chanthawongsaram, the nearby pagoda. For flights, Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) is 15.4 km from the hotel, and Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) is a little further away. The weekend market operates mainly at weekends, so a visit is best planned for a Saturday or Sunday.
